Why I Built My Own App

Most trainers hand you a login to the same white-label software as everyone else. I wanted something better for my clients — so we built our own.

Every how-to in it is ours. The demonstrations are animated so you can see the muscles working — not a shaky phone video filmed in a busy gym. And because it's mine, it works exactly the way I coach: strength first, food doing the heavy lifting, and progress you can actually see.

Where It's Going

On The App Store

The iPhone app was submitted to Apple in July 2026 and is in review now. The Android version follows on Google Play.

Watch & Health Syncing

Apple Health and watch step syncing is next on the roadmap, so your daily movement counts without you lifting a finger.

A Growing Library

The animated library went from zero to 2,000+ demonstrations this summer, and new exercises and features land all the time.

How Do You Get It?

The app isn't for sale on its own — it comes with coaching. Train with me 1-to-1 at the Leeds studio or online from anywhere, and your login is set up as part of your onboarding.

The App — FAQs

How much does the app cost?
Nothing on its own — it's included with 1-to-1 personal training and online coaching. There's no separate subscription and it isn't sold separately.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Today it installs on both as a web app (add to home screen — your login email explains how). The iPhone App Store version was submitted to Apple in July 2026 and is in review, with Google Play to follow.
Can I see how to do the exercises?
Every exercise has a written how-to with three coaching cues, and over 2,000 exercises have full animated demonstrations showing the movement and the muscles working.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your weigh-ins, photos and check-ins are between you and Pete. The club leaderboard is opt-in and shows initials only.
What if I don't like an exercise?
Swap it. Every exercise offers alternatives that fit the same session, each with its own animated demonstration and coaching cues.
What's the PG League?
It's the fun bit. Every session, weigh-in and habit you log scores points, you're placed in a division with people at your level, and you climb a live board through the month. There are seventeen badges to collect and real medals — bronze, silver and gold — posted to the winners. It's opt-in and shows initials only. See how the PG League works.
Can I talk to Pete in the app?
Yes. You can message me directly any time, and your weekly check-in goes straight to me — I read it and adjust your plan from there. It's all in one thread, so nothing gets lost.
Can I manage my sessions in the app?
If you train with me 1-to-1 at the Leeds studio, yes — you can book, move or cancel your sessions from your phone in a couple of taps, and your upcoming sessions are always there to see.
